Timeline
1986 - 2013
BOONS FIS is born
After more than 30 years of service within a Dutch-Belgian family business specialised in high-pressure cleaning systems, Freddy Boons decides to continue independently with the division for which he had been responsible as a business manager for all these years. His expertise and vision are the foundation of BOONS FIS. What follows is the development of an autonomous company with a focus on reliable industrial cleaning solutions.
2015
In-house R&D and personalisation
We build our own engineering department where innovation and customisation come together. This allows us to respond faster and smarter to the specific needs of customers. Think: shorter lead times, better performance, and more control over quality.
2016
Achievement of VCA* certification
Safety is firmly embedded in our processes. Thanks to VCA*, we guarantee that every site, every installation and every contact moment will be professional and safe. Working safely is a self-evident for us. VCA* makes this visible and verifiable.
2019
Futureproof industrial site
To accommodate our growth, we opt for scalable infrastructure. The purchase of a new site marks the start of a new chapter. More space, more possibilities, more impact.
2020
“Cleaning solutions by BOONS FIS”
We bring all the cleaning solutions we have been developing since 2013 under one clear flag. From low pressure to foam technology: customers find simplicity, transparency and expertise in one total story. Our identity is becoming sharper and more recognisable than ever.
2021
New premises in Nazareth
We move into a modern, sustainable commercial building that reflects our ambitions. Energy-efficient, CO2-neutral, functional and a nice, homely place for our team. Located in the heart of Belgium, amidst the industrial hotspots, we are easily accessible for customers, suppliers and partners.
2022
Future generation by Liesbeth & Simon Boons
The second generation officially takes the helm. With respect for the past, but a fresh look at the future. Family remains our foundation, but digitisation and thorough service are becoming new spearheads.
2024
Service and demo hub in Tiel
We anchor our presence in the Netherlands with a strategic base. Technicians, demos and service close to our Dutch customers. BOONS FIS becomes more than a supplier: we become a neighbour and partner.
